MATCH REPORT: East Park’s White comes out on top

Coventry hosted the inaugural BMS Ltd Junior Classic at the Hearsall Common raceway on Tuesday evening. In front of a large crowd, riders from all over the Midland’s travelled to take part with East Park’s Jake White coming out as eventual winner.

White though was forced into a two man run off after rival Reece Winwood won his final ride, in which other contender Jimmy Wassal fell, meaning both Winwood and White took part in a nail biting decider to confirm the outcome. Off of the favourable inside gate position, White stormed to victory, though Winwood gave chase throughout.

Coventry tracked half of the riders in the meeting with girl racer Sammie Marsh scoring highest and finished an impressive third on the night. Marsh, racing with two gate 1 starts from her five rides, won two races and finished second on three occasions.

Ollie Morris was left frustrated as a crash in heat 11 stopped his progress, though he remained consistent throughout the night and finished with 16.

One of the most impressive riders on the night however was Adam Dickinson who scored 15 points, which included two heat wins. Levi Walters scored 10 points in total, a remarkable achievement considering he’s only been competing for a matter of months.

Brother of Levi, Josh, also rode well scoring five points. Jack Bayliss managed to pick up 10 points and Harley Webb scored 7.
