NEWS: Coventry Mini Bus to European Individual Championships

The Coventry Cycle Speedway club are considering running a mini bus to the European Individual Championship in Poland, at Bydgoszcz and Torun, in August.

The bus will leave Coventry on the morning of Wednesday 13th August, arriving in Bygoszcz on Thursday afternoon (14th August). This will leave time for a rest before the hectic racing programme commences on Friday 15th August.

The party will depart immediately after the finals on Sunday 17th August, arriving back in Coventry late on Monday evening.

The European Championships will feature the respective age category finals, including veterans. The European Nations Cup shall also be contested, at junior and senior level.

Costs are dependant upon numbers and interest but with flights to Poland now charging £80 minimum per racing machine, the proposed Coventry road trip is expected to be cost effective. The Coventry club point out that any interested juniors must be accompanied by a parent. Interested travellers must make their own hotel arrangements, with the Holiday Inn at Bydgoszcz being the recommended hotel.
