East Park have a solid 3 point lead over their nearest rivals Wednesfield Aces and Birmingham, after a solid start to the season. The Whetton brothers have contributed massively to the success of their season so far, having really come of age this year.

The Aces have paid the price for their loss against the Dragons a few weeks ago, Birmingham are in the driving seat to take second spot if they can win their match in hand.

Leicester will be relatively pleased with their 50% win rate and the Dragons are off the bottom of the table for the first time in their short history. Coventry are adrift at the bottom of the table, they face the Dragons tomorrow evening, where they will be hoping to grind out a win to put some points on the board.

All Midland League eyes will be at East Park on 8th June, where the Aces travel the short distance to their neighbours. If Jamie Ball’s men can pull off the victory, it will certainly go a long way for their title challenge. Birmingham meanwhile, will be looking to either capitalise or just keep the pressure on the Aces with a win at Coventry on the same day.
