MATCH REPORT: Midlands BYJL Round 4

Roger Ellis and his helpers were not going to let torrential rain ruin their staging of the round and their decision to go ahead was vindicated with a fall free race programme which concluded in sunshine.

The U8 and U10 programmes were held in the worst of the rain but that did not deter the young riders from giving it their best efforts.

In the U8s it was the top two again who lead the way in the A Final with Ronnie Wassall again holding on to defeat the pressing Connor Steele and take top spot overall.

B Final – Cory Burt, Boyd Haines, Joseph Turner

In the U10 Scott Price made it two wins on the trot, followed home by Rory Haywood for his fourth second place and a determined Gabriella Black. A B Final win was enough though to secure top spot for Sophia Sinclair-Black
