Birmingham need one more win to secure the Midland League title, so far going unbeaten this year. East Park’s impressive league run was halted by two losses to their second city neighbours, they can still take the title if they win their remaining three fixtures and Birmingham lose both matches. The Aces’ title challenged was lost after a draw away at Coventry a few weeks ago, the Hearsall Common side delighted to get their first point of the season after some close matches. Leicester are ready to put pressure on the Aces for third place with their two matches in hand and the Dragons will see off any challenge from Coventry by beating them away in September.
