PHOTO: European Championship final run off controversy

There were many controversial incidents in the recent European final at Torun but probably none more-so than this one captured in this shot of the run-off for the top three places between Sebastian Paruzel of Czestochowa seen here leading the race and the Torun duo of Binkowski and Paradzinski.

Moments later “Binky” clattered into the fence and was excluded to the surprise of many onlookers based on earlier exclusions for crossing the inside line. Encouraged by his apparent good fortune, Paradzinski made no mistakes in the re-start against his unlucky opponent.
