NEWS: Coventry announce end of season party
Coventry Cycle Speedway club, now fully restored to its former glory, today announced that it will celebrate another year of growth and success at a special end of season party and celebration night to be held in the Godiva city.
Riders, management, officials, parents, sponsors and supporters will gather on Saturday 15th November at The Craftsman Public House Function Room, in Holbrooks, to celebrate a superb 2014 season and to acknowledge achievement.
Various awards will be presented, including the `Rider of the Year`, and `Clubman of the Year`, at both junior and senior level. The winners of the newly formed Coventry League, the Brandon Bees, are expected to collect their championship winning silverware.
A special VIP `Guest of Honour` has been booked to present all the awards at the special evening, following the appearance of Coventry Bees international GP Speedway rider Chris Harris last year. This person shall be announced shortly.
Entrance to the evening, which is also open to all fellow clubs and individuals, is via ticket from hard working Coventry official Sharon Drewett.
