NEWS: Indoor training in Sheffield

The Sheffield Club want to put out an open invitation to any riders who fancy some indoor racing this Saturday, 26th October. The venue is the English Institute of Sport (EIS) on Colerdige Road, Sheffield S9 5DA.

The venue is less than 5 minutes from Junction 34 of the M1. Anyone who has not been before will be surprised that outdoor tyres on the best on the tartan running type surface. It’s hard and abrasive as it has to take athletes running spikes. Registration is from 1pm, with racing to start just after 2 and will conclude by 5pm. Categories are for Under 8’s/10’s/13’s/Open/Women’s and will form the final round of a nine race series. It’s individual racing with GP finals at the end. Entry cost is £2, which includes the BC race levy as this is a Go Ride event.

Any riders are welcome to come along (even if you haven’t raced in any of the previous rounds).
