MATCH REPORT: Horspath put the hammer down

Horspath turned on the style at the Village yesterday, with a dominating performance against more than full strength Ipswich, after they brought in Australia’s Cody and Joel Chadwick for a taste of Elite League action.

The Aussies sampled the Horspath track for the first time ahead of this evenings first test match and they met a very determined Horspath outfit who gave no quarter, showing all their experience on the technical circuit.

Marcin Kolata went through the card unbeaten, as did Lukas Nowacki with a paid max, but both received fine support from their team mates. Ipswich could only manage two riders into double figures, with Cody Chadwick and Josh Brooke the only Eagles to do so. It certainly makes tonight’s test match match very intriguing indeed.
