RESULT: Poland win run off to take best pairs title

Amazing scenes in Exeter, as Poland clinched the World Best Pairs title in a run off with England.

Marcin Szymanski and Bartek Grabowski took on Lee Aris and Mark Boaler in the run off for first. After two unsuccessful restarts, Szymanski rode away to take the victory, leaving Grabowski to hold Boaler behind whilst watching out for Aris just ahead.

Wales secured third place ahead of Australia, Scotland and Ireland in a fine advert for the sport. Packed full of incidents and controversy, it was a fitting end to a great day of Cycle Speedway.
