NEWS: Neighbour and Harris bring Swindon joy in British Championships
The British Finals weekend for all age categories took place last week in Ipswich, Suffolk, with two Swindon riders having success in the relevant categories.
Alice Neighbour won the Girls under 13 event to add to her under 10 title three years ago, whilst Steve Harris (pictured in the Poole shirt, however races for Swindon locally) came third in the over 40 Men’s final.
Steve has raced the over 40 event 6 times in total and has never been off the podium winning 4 times, so this is a remarkable record for which everyone at Swindon Cycle Speedway would like to congratulate him on.
This weekend sees more junior racing on Saturday 5th Septembe, with racing at the Oasis Leisure Centre starting at 12 noon, with under 10s in action all the way up to under 18s and Women where once again Alice will be competing.
