MATCH REPORT: Birmingham Eurovets glory at East Park

East park was home to round 8 of the Eurovets series. Once again it was the Birmingham riders that took glory in all categories.

Mark Winwood rode unbeaten all day to secure another A final win, whilst Bob Prince was in majestic form racing to 19 points in the qualifiers which gave him grid 1 in both 50’s and 60’s A final, taking wins in both.

Paul Timms continued his fine form to take 2nd spot in the 50’s whilst Steve Hodgkinson missed out this time winning the B final.

With one round left both Winwood (40s) and and Prince (60s) have one hand already on the trophy whilst in the 50’s it’s a dog fight for top spot between Prince and Hodgkinson, Prince having a 3 point lead.
