NEWS: Poole all set for awards evening
Poole stage their annual Awards Evening this coming Saturday evening at “Champs Bar” in Poole Stadium with doors opening at 7pm.
High on the list of priorities will be the presentation of trophies for Clubnight riders and the Youth & Junior squad who swept the board in both the regional and national BYJL competition categories.
With such a successful season to reflect on, the judging panel were set a hard task in making their nominations for the six coveted Club Rider of the Year awards, which will be made to U8, U10, U12, U14, Junior and Senior riders. An equally tough decision faces the nomination for the Clubman of the Year award with so many contenders following the highly acclaimed World Championship events staged at Harbourside back in August.
With trophies duly in the hands of their worthy recipients, guests will again be entertained by GJ Cabarets, who are back by popular demand after their brilliant performance at “Champs” twelve months ago and cameo appearance on World Cup day at Harbourside.
The World Cup Final day featured on Sky Sports yesterday evening as well as three viewings earlier today, while the club’s media profile received another boost this week with great coverage of the BYJL successes in the Bournemouth Echo.
