NEWS: Vicky Brown and Team GB up for “Ride of the Year” award
World Women’s champion, Vicky Brown and the Men’s and Women’s Great Britain squads are shortlisted for the “Ride of the Year” award on the British Cycling website. They face stiff competition against the likes of Road’s Lizzie Armitstead, Track’s Laura Trott and BMX’s Liam Phillips.
Brown stormed her way to the World title at Wednesfield in August, as well as collecting the British title a few weeks later in Ipswich.

She was the captain of the Great Britain women’s team, who notched a 3-0 “Ashes” victory over their Australian counterparts, while the Men’s team, led by Paul Heard, secured victory at Coventry, winning the series 2-1 overall.
