NEWS: Aris looking ahead to the 2017 ICSF Worlds

In his first week in charge, new Team GB supremo Lee Aris is already turning his attention to the 2017 World Championships in Adelaide, South Australia, and he wants your feedback.

He has written to interested parties, as the ICSF look to confirm dates. The letter reads:

Attention to all whom maybe travelling to Australia in 2017 as part of the Great Britain Cycle Speedway Party.

Within the next few weeks we plan to fix the travelling tour dates to Australia in 2017. Our last tour party was substantial and we appreciate the cost and commitment this incurs, therefore we would like to gather your feedback on the proposed dates. The tour will take part during the months of November – December 2017. There are twomajor Pros and Cons you will need to take into consideration along with any others that may suite your own circumstances… The earlier we travel (for example the first week in November) the cheaper the flights and accommodation will cost due to being out of season. Australia’s summer begins in December and as the weather warms so does prices for flights and accommodation. An estimated variance in price is £300.00 per person from travelling early November compared to late in December and this would be a varied scale.

Proposed dates…

A) Depart 3rd November / Return 27th November (Comparable flight cost £ 721.00)*

B) Depart 10th November / Return 4th December (Comparable flight cost £ 722.00)*

C) Depart 17th November / Return 11Th December (Comparable flight cost £ 728.00)*

D) Depart 24th November / Return 18th December (Comparable flight cost £ 771.00)* – This option allows individuals or family to extend their stay to the Christmas Holidays.

*Please note: no dates are fixed and subject to change, above dates are for illustration and example purpose only* Comparable flight cost is looking at current flight costs for corresponding dates in 2016 – Heathrow to Adelaide, price checked 7th Jan 2016*

We welcome your feedback preferably by Facebook messenger (To Lee Aris) or email leeearis@hotmail.com  – Please respond by Wednesday 14th January. Please keep your feedback short and concise.

Please note: While we welcome your feedback for review, a final decision will be made taking into account requirements to suite the Polish and Australia federation too.
