TRANSFER NEWS: Prince heads for East Park

East Park Wolves have announced the signing of former Birmingham administrator/rider, Bob Prince on a first licence.

Bob who received the Wilkinson Sword Award at the indoors for all his years service to Cycle Speedway, is going to be a terrific asset to East Park, bringing much knowledge and experience with him. Bob has already been a huge help assisting East Park with their Go-ride acceptance from British Cycling.

Another rider joining the East Park ranks will be Charlie Barnett from Coventry. The final signing announced by the Wolves sees Dave Meanley coming back to East Park this season after his spell at Wednesfield.

East Park are now working with British Cycling’s Nick Yarworth approaching local schools hoping to increase their membership and produce more winners like Brandon Whetton. The club already has two hot prospects on their hands in the fast improving White brothers.
