NEWS: Stockport celebrate successful 2015
Stockport celebrated both club and individual successes at their AGM and presentation evening on Friday. Trophies were awarded to the riders for winning the Northern League Division 1 title for the sixth successive year, the Northern League Fours and Manchester League Division 1 titles by club chairman Graham Lush.

The rider of the year awards were voted for by all club members present on the night. After a close vote, the awards went to Jake Read (senior) and Devon Campbell (junior).
Warm applause greeted the club’s two British Individual champions, Michael Preston and Jake Read (pictured above) for their success in winning the under 13 outdoor and under 19 indoor titles respectively.
Special awards were made to Devon Campbell, Louis Wright and Michael Preston, three of the club’s only four junior riders, along with Jake Read, in 2015 who between them won two British Individual titles and one British Individual silver medal.
