PREVIEW: BYJL National rounds from Leicester

The National Rounds of the BYJL get underway tomorrow at Leicester with a bumper turn-out expected at this central location, with the day getting under way with the U8’s at 10.00.

With a number of riders having achieved perfect scores in the regional rounds plenty of close racing can be expected, as riders aim to get off to a good start to this four round Summer competition which will conclude at Great Blakenham in September.

It is not just about individual success though, as the top two teams from each region compete for the overall team title, with last year’s champions Poole looking to retain their title.

Those attending tomorrow are reminded that parking restrictions apply in much of Slater Street, so they should use the car park of the Abbey Sports Centre, opposite the track.

For those with early starts bacon butties will be available in the morning with a barbeque from midday.
