CLUB NEWS: Astley secure £500 funding

Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club are pleased to announce that through the efforts of Club Treasurer, Catherine White, they have secured £500 funding from the Wigan branch of the Unite trade union.

Club Secretary Mike Hack said “We thank the Unite Union Wigan branch
secretary, Paul Kenny, for securing this funding for the club, which
will assist the club with its track improvement works at the Gin Pit
cycle speedway circuit.”

The Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club was formed in 1989 and now
boasts over 100 members, providing a range of leisure and racing cycling
for all ages and levels of ability.
