CLUB NEWS: Wells, Buxton and Chambers represent Hawks

Hethersett Hawks/Myhill Decorators had three riders competing at Poole on Sunday to try and qualify for Monday’s British Finals at Exeter.

Owen Wells came through and gave a good account of himself in the Under-16 final finishing 13th with 9 points.

In the Open semi-finals, Olly Buxton missed out by one point and Dan Chambers by two, but following withdrawals on Monday, Olly found himself in an entertaining race-off to a place in the final.

He led at one stage but eventually finished a close second, so therefore lined up in the final parade as first reserve.

This Sunday the Hawks are back in League action at Great Blakenham.
