SKY SPORTS: Cycle Speedway on Sky Sports this evening

Cycle Speedway will make a long awaited return to national television screens tonight on Sky Sports, when edited highlights of the third and deciding Test match featuring Great Britain V Australia are shown from Hearsall Common, Coventry.

The action will be beamed across the nation as the two teams, level pegging going into the match, decide one of the most fiercely Test matches for many years. A huge crowd was in evidence in Coventry, as the host club put on all their renown promotional prowess for the live, and television viewers, to enjoy.

The footage will be aired in the long running `Sports Unlimited` programme on Sky Sports 4 (Sky channel 404), on Wednesday 26th October at the peak viewing time of 7pm.

It will then be repeated three times across the Sky Sports network in the proceeding 24 hours. It will then be shown in 32 countries worldwide, with a global reach of 190 million homes.

In a further boost to the sport, the World Final, sponsored by Tyre City, from Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, in 2015, will then be shown on Sky Sports in two weeks’ time. This is expected to on Wednesday 2nd November (to be confirmed).
