AUSTRALIA: Aussies gear up for 2017 Worlds

With less than a year before the commencement of the 2017 World Championships, the Australian Cycle Speedway Council has recently announced their team manager appointments for the World Cup and Test Match series.

The vastly experienced Brad Hoppo has retained the senior role from the 2015 World Series staged in the United Kingdom and victory on “home ground” is a challenge he will relish.

The junior role, vacated by Kevin Bickle, has afforded International competitor Ryan Edson the opportunity to pass on his expertise to the array of young talent emerging from the lower categories of domestic racing.

The final selection is Shane Weinert who again will have total oversight of the Womens training program, in addition too a managerial role.
