INDOOR: British Cycling extend deadline to 18th December

Coventry have issued a reminder that entries for the British Indoor Finals close next week – on Sunday 18th December, after British Cycling extended the deadline. The finals will be staged at the Sports Connexion, Ryton, near Coventry on 7th/8th January 2017.

Riders and teams can now enter for the traditional eight events which forms the finals weekend by going to: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/145043/2016-British-Indoor-Championships

For the first time ever, a new “International Indoor GP” has been added to the list of events but is not an “official” championship. This additional event has been created to cater for non-UK world class riders, such as Cody Chadwick of Australia and Lukasz Nowacki of Poland. Entries for this, at just £11.50 per rider, are also available on the British Cycling site.

A positive entry for this year’s Indoor Championship is required to safeguard the future of the event. With such high costs to run, any reduction in entry would see viability of future Indoor Championships put at risk.

Coventry are appealing to the sport and the wider business community to back the championships by way of sponsorship. The club have a rich and exciting range of sponsorships available. All interested parties should email: coventrycsc@yahoo.co.uk
