NEWS: Rare “direct mount” 33t chainrings available to order
Josh Brooke has been in contact with a Canadian company, “North Shore Billet”, and has got the go ahead to put in an order of 33 tooth direct mount chainrings. Anyone who is already on a Direct Mount set up will know that a 33 tooth direct mount chainring is impossible to come by in today’s market.
Based in Whistler, Canada, NSB have agreed to an order of 10+ 33 tooth chainrings, with the cost of each unit coming in at £38-40 depending on the exchange rate at the time, including postage to the UK which will be between £4-5 depending on quantity ordered.
A direct mount set up does away with the crank spider and chainring bolts and saves weight, while also losing any flex through the spider.
