NEWS: HSBC Elite GP Series round one entry now open

The entry for one of Cycle Speedway’s newest and exciting competitions is now open via the British Cycling website.

The HSBC Elite GP series takes place over four rounds for Elite Men and Elite Junior categories, however entry is open to absolutely anybody, of any nationality, wishing to test themselves.

Prize money is up for grabs in each round, with the overall winner being declared by the best three scores from four rounds. It is hoped the top riders in the sport will embrace this new flagship competition, which comes with a high profile sponsor in HSBC bank.

With the 2017 World Championships in Adelaide just around the corner, the series will be perfect preparation for the riders heading down under in November.

Each track hosting a round are expected to deliver a high standard of promotion for the event and sell it, and our sport, to the public, like they would any major final. This will hopefully see healthy crowds at all four venues to witness the best Cycle Speedway has to offer.

Round one takes place at East Park in Wolverhampton and entry is now open via this link: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/160017/HSBC-UK-|-Cycle-Speedway-Elite-Grand-Prix-Series-1
