CATCH UP: What have we missed down under?

The ICSF World Championships are now only one week away and the UK and Poland touring parties are well into their final preparations ahead of their long flight down under at the end of next week.

Here’s a catch up of what’s been going on in Adelaide over the past few weeks, sent in by our reporter in South Australia, Pete Barnes.

Chadwick and Norman take out Australian Championships

At the 2017 Australian Championships staged at Murraylands on Sunday 22nd October it was Salisbury based Joel  Chadwick who secured the major award from Braden Makepeace and Cody Chadwick, whilst Ty Geertsen, still suffering from a workplace accident, fully deserved a final podium position.

Worlds hot prospect Jack Norman captured the Junior title from Matt Snowden, Todd Clarke and DJ Thompson.

Delmonico duo take Findon spoils

Sunday 29th October saw the Findon Club stage an Open Individual event, which was contested in the main by Veterans and Junior age level riders.

Whilst there was a lack of attendance of the home nation senior test team squad, the vibes suggest that after a strict training schedule prior to the Worlds, a welcome rest was in order to fully focus on their undoubted aim.

Winner of the Vets was the unbeaten Brad Delmonico, whilst his eldest son Harrison took out the Junior event on a similar scoreline.
