INTERNATIONAL: Gamage appointed England Over 40s Team Manager

Great Britain Veteran’s and Women’s Team manager, Geoff Gamage (pictured with the GB senior team), has been appointed as Team Manager for the England Over 40s team.

As Team GB Over 40’s Manager he has an extensive knowledge of the veteran scene which he foresees will get stronger internationally as both Poland and Australia have riders “coming of age” starting this year.

His knowledge of those opposition riders is also extensive. His record as GB team manager is impressive having won 12 and lost 1 out of the Women’s test matches and having managed the GB Vets to a 3-0 series win in Australia in November.

Geoff’s Horspath record has seen him fully responsoble for the Junior success in the late 1990’s U19, U16 and BJL, 5 of Horspath’s Elite League titles and one of their BTC titles as well as playing a major role in all their Indoor Team successes.

Geoff attends the Home Internationals anyway as part of his Team GB roles plus all the Eurovets events too.
