CLUB NEWS: Newport hold annual awards evening

Newport cycle speedway club held an enjoyable annual awards evening at Llanwern golf club to celebrate another year of success for the club.
The 75 people in attendance saw 130 trophies being presented by club sponsors Dig it landscapes.
The clubs juniors were handed their awards as South and South Wales league runners up, awards were also given for the very successfull 4 seasons mid week league.
A special presentation was made by the clubs juniors to their coaches and trainers.
The hard working club volunteers also received special awards.

The main annual award winners were as follows

Rider of the year: Tyler Davies.
Most improved rider of the year: Ethan Hiscox.
Best newcomer: Sam Marsh.
Club person of the year( volunteer): Callum Goward and Fay Brosnan.
Riders rider of the year: Joseph Lewis.
