CLUB NEWS: Norwich stage Presentation Evening
Norwich Stars held their 2018 Presentation Evening at Little Gems Function Room on Saturday 1st December. The estimated 50 people in attendance enjoyed an excellent buffet, the biggest majority of which was prepared by Paula Wenn. Thanks must go to Paula for this as well as those who contributed towards the buffet also.
The trophies were then handed out and the junior riders who rode on Tuesday nights received their awards before the presentation of the main awards which were won as follows:
Cullum Award (for the rider who put the most effort into Tuesday nights): Connor Jarrett
Most Improved Rider of the Year: Jamie Medler
Best Newcomer: David Spauls
Junior Rider of the Year: Scott Colby
Senior Rider of the Year: Craig Norton
Star of the Year:Gary Colby

Special awards were handed out to Paula Wenn, Faye Jarrett, Ellen Nierop and also to Veronica Medler(who was unable to attend).Veronica’s son Jamie picked up this award on her behalf as well as an extra award for all of her work over the years within the club. Veronica is standing down from running the tuck shop at the Eaton Park circuit but will remain as the club’s Welfare Officer
