AUSTRALIA: White leads the Veterans GP series

The popular evening racing returned to Le Fevre on Friday for the 6th round of the Veterans GP Series with fifteen riders contesting the event and in addition points for the series championship. After twenty heats it was home based Paul White who extended his overall lead with a faultless maximum whilst fellow Australian International Warren Corbett dropped
just a single point when they met in the vital heat 18. Brad Hoppo fully deserved third placing after heat defeats by White and Corbett. Matt Gentle would have retained a series interest with a well earned 17 point scoreline with long serving Salisbury Club member Robert Dutton taking three heat wins in his 16 point tally. The active interest and high level of racing will without doubt see the home nation in contention for major honours when the 2020 Worlds are staged in Adelaide.
