NEWS: Access Sport grants opportunity for Cycle Speedway clubs

Cycle Speedway Commission Chair Mike Hack has been in touch to make everyone aware about Access Sport Grants:

“I hope that you are all safe and well and looking forward to the start of the new cycle speedway season.

“I am pleased to notify everybody about the opportunity for all cycle speedway clubs to team up with Access Sport, via their Wingz project. Access Sport are offering clubs a £200 starter grant, to assist them with recruiting new riders from all sectors of the community.

“Further details are available from this feature on Access Sport’s website –

“I strongly encourage all cycle speedway clubs to take advantage of this offer, by contacting Andy James, at Andy.James@accesssport.co.uk

“Cycle speedway is a wonderful affordable, entry level cycling discipline, using safe, off road, fully enclosed facilities, which are ideal for delivering the aims of Access Sport. By working in conjunction with them, our clubs can boost their recruitment initiatives, for a win-win result. The closing date for applications is imminent – Thursday
24th March, so don’t delay.

“Please publicise and share this information with all your club members, colleagues, websites, social media sites etc.

“Good luck for the forthcoming season.”
