OBITUARY: Keith Dyer

33/18 News has learnt of the passing of Northumbria’s Keith Dyer on Monday. Here’s how the news was reported on Edinburgh’s Facebook page:

“Edinburgh Falcons Cycle Speedway Club were saddened to hear of the passing of Northumbria Cycle Speedway Club’s, Keith Dyer, yesterday afternoon (Monday 11 April). Our heartfelt condolences to Keith’s Family and all at Northumbria Vikings Cycle Speedway Club.
“Keith was a top rider during the 60’s to the 90’s on Tyneside and was instrumental in the resurgence of Cycle Speedway League racing at Cramlington, in 2014. He was even persuaded to don the Vikings shirt and race in a few Division Two matches as well as Referee in Division One.
” “Dangerous” as he was affectionately known, had a wicked dry sense of humour, loved music and animals, will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”

Everyone in Cycle Speedway and at 33/18 News would like to add their condolences to Keith’s family and friends at this time
