NEWS: Updates from British Cycling
Tarn Fynn has been in touch with the following updates:
Some of you have noticed the Club Championships are now open for entry via the following link. The entry deadline is Sunday 22nd May, please ensure you enter your teams in advance as there will not be admin support available over that weekend.
Entries should be submitted by the team manager. Only one entry needs submitting per team, riders do not need to be declared until the day of event. Each team entry costs £30. The final schedule will be confirmed following the entry deadline. The days on which each championship will take place are specified on the event listing.
For all Club Championships restricted by age and gender, the competition will be run in a two rider + two reserves format. All clubs will be guaranteed their first team entry in each category. The formula to be used will be decided based on the number of first team entries received. Clubs may enter more teams; however, these will only be accepted to fill the remaining spaces in the formula. A ballot will be used to allocate these remaining spaces if there are more B/C/D teams entered than spots available. Any unsuccessful teams in the ballot will be refunded the entry fee.
Eligibility for each Championship is as per the technical regulations (page 87 and 88):
Under 12: riders born 2011-2012
Under 14: riders born 2008-2011
Under 16 Girls: female riders born 2006-2009
