WEEKEND PREVIEW: Home International & Eurovets

it’s Home International day tomorrow and Fife will finally get to stage the event they were allocated originally in 2020, only for the Covid-19 pandemic to cause it to be cancelled. Fife were allocated the Home Internationals for last season as well but that too was originally cancelled, only to be reinstated and staged at Astley & Tyldesley after the European Championships were cancelled. It will also be the first time that the Home Internationals will have been held in Scotland since Edinburgh staged the event in 2009

The schedule for Fife is as follows:

11am – Women’s Regional Pairs
12.30pm – Junior Home International between Scotland & England
2.30pm – Over 40’s Home International
4.30pm – Senior Home International

The draws for team positions will be made on the day

Most of the Over 40’s will then make the trip to Glasgow’s Cathkin Sports Centre for Round 3 of the EuroVets the following day. Fife were due to race Glasgow in North & Scotland Divisions 2 & 3 on Sunday but that will be staged at a later date. The latest round of the Northern 4’s League will take place at Stockport
