BYJL: National Rounds start this Saturday

Ross Mee has been in touch with the following statement regarding the British Youth & Junior League National Rounds:

Just a reminder that the National Rounds of the BYJL (including Little League) start this Saturday.

In a change from previous years there is no qualification criteria so anyone can ride even if they have not competed in the regional rounds.

This is the first time since 2019 that it has been possible to run the competition in full and I look forward to seeing as many riders as possible over the rounds. I would ask all Clubs to promote this competition, particularly among parents of newcomers to the sport. These days are a great way for our young riders to meet and compete against riders of a similar age from all over the country – and the parents also have a good day out! Whilst I know that not everyone will not want to travel to all four rounds I hope that they will still take part in their region’s round.

There does seem to be some confusion regarding the venues for the second and third rounds. So for clarity the dates and venues are:

R1 – 9 July Kesgrave

R2 – 23 July Wednesfield

R3 – 20 August Newport

R4 – 17 September Astley & Tyldesley

Start time is 10 am.
