By Andy Whitehouse (via British Cycling) Andy Angell secured his third British individual title at Bury in arguably one of the most exciting finals in recent memory. A mere six points separated the 16 strong field, the tightest margin in the championship’s history.

Exeter’s Charlie Jane Herbert became the new British Women’s Cycle Speedway Champion after a first place run off with Sheffield’s Victoria Brown, Michelle Whitehead finished 3rd. In the under 16’s event Lily Gedge won, ahead of Elizabeth Rigley and Chloe Albin.
