CLUB NEWS: Bury complete Good Friday charity ride

Bury CSC held its annual Good Friday charity ride which is, almost unbelievably, in its twenty-fifth year.

With the weather not as great as it has been in recent years, only around ten intrepid club members, family and friends completed the off-road route which followed the course of the River Irwell towards Manchester.

Each year the event raises money for club funds as well as a selected charity which, for 2017, is a local charity, Jigsaw.

Jigsaw organise sport, leisure and social events for disabled people in Bury.

Initial estimates are that around £300 has been raised.
