Newport have secured a £4,300 club development grant from Newport city council.
The money will be spent on digging up and resurfacing their track, installing new track side seating, recruitment, and upskilling volunteers.
2025 British champion Mark Carmichael will be returning back to the club where he has had many succesfull years, this is a great addition for the Welsh club who hope to attract a few more riders to boost their numbers in time for the 2027 campaign.
The club will be racing indoors weekly, on Monday Evenings 6pm to 7pm.
The club awards evening will be on Saturday November 7th at the Ringland Labour Club.
