MATCH REPORT: Manchester League Round 2
Stockport hosted the re-arranged Manchester League Grand Prix Round 2 event at a warm and sunny St. Thomas’ Park on Wednesday evening.
More Covid self isolations partly accounted for Astley & Tyldesley fielding only two junior riders, well down on their usual turn out. Despite both Duncan Whalley and Charlie Burgess racing unbeaten in the u-13 and u-16 categories, it was the three riders of Bury who beat A&T in the Division 2 match, 40-32, to move one point clear in the series. Bury’s Bobby Dunphy raced unbeaten in the u-10s match.
