On Tuesday at a rainy training session we were confidently promised sunshine for the second round of the Norfolk Series by Jade and although it wasn’t quite Caribbean weather, the rain held off and there was no monsoon of two weeks
ago! It had been a few years since HETHERSETT HAWKS sponsored by YELLOWBRICK MORTGAGES had ridden at Spixworth but it was a welcome return to one of the few remaining Norfolk tracks. Etta made her debut in the U8’s with older brother, Arlo, pushing Ronnie and Austin all the way in the U13 category. This is going to be a good one to keep an eye on this season! Lola didn’t let two broken fingers stop her and gave her usual 110% holding Amelia to fourth place in the U16’s. Final results were:

U8
1st – Etta
2nd – Isaac – 18 points
3rd – Henry – 17 points

U10

1st – Jake
2nd – Nyla
3rd – Isaac

U13

2nd – Luca
3rd – Ronnie
4th – Austin
5th – Arlo

U16

3rd – Lola
4th – Amelia
