With temperature forecasts in the high 30s for the coming weekend South Australian clubs had no option than to re- schedule racing events to the Friday evening. However a pleasant mid 20s at Reserve Parade saw over thirty competitors at the Findon Club compete in a two hour program of racing. Blake Frencken with three heat wins in his total topped the senior scorechart whilst Ryan Knights and Braylon McDonald captured the minor positions. The junior division showcased the upcoming strength at this level when Max Lowick narrowly gained victory from Xavier Whithead and Caitlin Knights. The Womans event gave a clear victory to unbeaten Kayleigh Clarke from Brooklyn Taheny and Miriam Thomson. The final division, the over 30s,was a successful evening for Brad Delmenico with Jackie Kinross and Sam Rochester worthy runners up.

It is now just three weeks until the prestigious Annual Memorial Open Championship event when hopefully Shane Bentley and team mate Bobby McMillen will make an appearance.
