Welcome visitors to Harbourside Park during a recent training evening were former double World Individual Champion and Poole Comet Dan Pudney and his family who earlier had flown into nearby Bournemouth airport from Spain where his son Zack had been playing in a junior international soccer tournament.
Apart from taking the opportunity to catch up with club members he could not resist the chance of a few laps with his son who also races for the Le Fevre club in South Australia.
Pudney has confirmed that he will be returning to the UK in September to contest the 2025 World Championship events in East Anglia.
