The draws are in for the European Championships which will be staged by the Wednesfield and Birmingham clubs from Friday 3st July to Sunday 2nd August.
The International Cycle Speedway Federation have attracted a large entry of riders and teams for the Championships and are pleased to announce that, with the support of the two staging clubs, they have been able to produce a schedule that enables all riders in the Open and Junior Individual Championships to contest a minimum of two matches each.

Riders marked with asterisks (**) on the draw sheet have until 30/06/26 to pay their outstanding entry fee or complete their |nternational Licence application and payment. Failure to do so by that date, at the third time of asking, will result in the rider(s) entry to the Championships being withdrawn.
The organisers can accept 1 late entry for the Open Championship and up to 4 late entries for the Junior Championship. The fields for the Veterans and Women Championships are full.
Apart from Open Qualifier 1, all Qualifying Rounds, Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals will be run concurrently. This is to save time by avoiding a turnover of riders and officials after each single match.
Riders in the Junior and Open Individual Championships will each have a minimum of two matches.
The top 16 aggregate scorers over the two days qualifying rounds in the Junior Individual Championship will progress directly to the Junior Final.
Due to the compacted schedule of qualifying on Friday, a “managed draw” has taken place, so that no Junior or Veterans riders will compete in the Open Qualifier 1 match.
The top two scorers from each of the five Open Qualifiers will progress directly to the Semi-Finals. The remaining 63 riders will contest the four Open Quarter Final matches.
The non qualifying riders from Open Qualifier 1 may be drawn in any of the Quarter Finals.
The non qualifying riders from Open Qualifiers 2 and 3 will progress to race in a Quarter Final at Birmingham.
The non qualifying riders from Open Qualifiers 4 and 5 will progress to race in a Quarter Final at Wednesfield.
The top five scorers from each Quarter Final match will progress directly to the Semi-Finals.
The sixth placed riders from each Quarter Final match will have a race off 30 minutes before the start of the Semi-Finals. The top two riders from the Race Off will progress to the Semi-Finals.
The top eight scorers from each Semi-Final in the Open, Women and Veterans Championships will progress to their respective Finals.
