The re-arranged Round 6 of the Manchester League series took place at Bury on Wednesday evening. Despite the track being well watered beforehand, it quickly dried out as the summer drought continued.
Bury’s Reece Pollitt took the individual win on the night, to clinch the individual series win, finishing seven points clear of runner-up Frank White of A&T. On the night, Bury took their second win in the team series. However, A&T’s second place on the night was sufficient for them to secure the overall win in the team series, finishing one match point ahead of Bury.
