NEWS: British Indoor Finals – Provisional senior individual entries dwarfs outdoor finals figure
Organisers of the British Indoor finals confirmed that 47 riders had entered the British Indoor Senior championships, which still had a few hours left for entries before the original deadline of midnight last night. This has dwarfed this years paltry figure of 32 at the corresponding outdoor final at Bury.
These figures make even more stark reading when its acknowledged that several leading riders, including riders such as three times British champion Andy Angell, Wednesfield star man Paul Heard and Coventry kingpin Myke Grimes amongst others, do not partake in the indoor scene.
