ICSF WORLDS: Midlands official hotel reminder
Promoters of the World Cycle Speedway finals, Federation Cup and the third and final Test match between Great Britain and Australia have today issued a reminder of the official hotel for the extravaganza of world class Cycle Speedway, set for the West Midlands region in early August 2015.
The official hotel for all the Midland based events will be the Village Hotel, Dolomite Avenue, Earlsdon, Coventry, CV4 9GZ – just over the road from the Coventry track at Hearsall Common. The Village Hotel, Coventry, is within 40 minutes of all the staging tracks – Coventry (2 minutes), Leicester (30 minutes), Birmingham (30 minutes), East Park and World final venue Wednesfield (both 40 minutes).
Organisers have secured vastly reduced room rates for just £50.00 per room per night. Family rooms are also available, for a supplement of just £5 per child. These costings represents no increase for several previous Cycle Speedway finals where the Village Hotel has been a popular host for the sport.
All accommodation includes full English breakfast and the use of the Village Hotel`s luxurious swimming pool and leisure facilities. The Village Hotel was a hospitable and welcoming venue for riders, parents, friends, families and supporters who used the hotel whilst attending the 2013 British Final at Hearsall Common and the 2013 and 2014 British Indoor finals. It boasts award winning restaurants, bars and a Starbucks franchise.
Riders, management, officials and fans can book accommodation at the Village Hotel for Thursday 6th August 2015, Friday 7th August 2015 and Saturday 8th August 2015.
To reserve your hotel room for the final Australian Test match and World events in the Midlands could not be simpler. Just call: 0871 222 4193, ask for/select option one, quote the dates and hotel (Village Hotel, Coventry) you wish to stay at and then quote “BRIT060815″.
Please note, no on-line bookings can be accepted in order to obtain the special £50.00 (or family room) rate, only telephone bookings.
The accommodation arrangements coincide with the climax of the Australia tour, the Federation Cup and the World finals. Coventry will proudly stage the third and final Test match on Thursday 6th August, at 7.15pm, between Great Britain and Australia. Its expected the Coventry club will present the meeting to a new level of presentational standards, full of noise and colour, in their acclaimed style.
Leicester will stage the World Vets final at Glover Park, near Leicester City Centre, on Friday 7th August, in the first major meeting at the East Midlands venue for several years. Tim Jarvis and his team can be assured to put on a professional show in what should be one of the highlights of the whole range of world class events.
The Birmingham club, who are set to announce major infrastructure backing for their events this coming week, will host the semi finals of the World championships on Saturday 8th August, before the action switches (on the same day) to the East Park club in Wolverhampton for the Federation Cup.
Wednesfield Aces will promote the World final on Sunday 9th August at Ashmore Park, in what promises to be a glorious end to the Australian tour and the World championship events. The Aces are to announce a major sponsor – a national brand – for the World senior final this week. They are also concluding arrangements for the sponsorship of the World woman’s and junior finals.
A Midlands official said: “We are delighted to provide this central hotel venue which is within easy reach of all the Midlands staging tracks, and once again, we have secured this high class accommodation at heavily discounted rates. We invite everyone to book at the official hotel and join the fun and excitement at this fiesta of world class Cycle Speedway competition”.
