MATCH REPORT: A&T dominate over weakened Heckmondwike

A&T rode to a convincing win over bottom of the table Heckmondwike in Sunday’s Northern League Division 1 match at Gin Pit.

Reece Pollitt raced unbeaten and he narrowly missed out on re-claiming the track record when winning heat 6 in a time of 40.43 secs.

Paul Graham was unbeaten, save for a gate exclusion in heat 8.

All the A&T riders scored well as Team Green raced to an 89-41 win. Darren Kent won three races for Heckmondwike, with Mick Knowles also a race winner.

A&T lent the visitors two riders to make up the numbers.
