WEEKEND PREVIEW: 2023 World Championships

After a 4 year hiatus the ICSF World Cycle Speedway Championships get under way this weekend. There is a Welcome Night which takes place at Findon on Friday evening at 7pm local time (8.30am UK time) where the draws for some of the Individual events will take place.

The racing itself gets underway on Saturday at Findon with the Federation Cups for Over 40’s, Junior, Women and Senior.Following an Official Opening at 11.30am local time (1am UK time) the Over 40’s Federation Cup gets underway at midday local time (1.30am UK time). The Junior match follows at 2pm local time (3.30am UK time) with the Women’s match at 4pm local time (5.30am UK time) and the Senior match rounding off the opening day’s action at 6pm local time (4.30am UK time)

Murray Bridge is the venue for Sunday’s Action with 3 test matches taking place between Australia and Great Britain at Women’s, Over 40’s and Senior levels. The Women’s match starts at midday local time (1.30am UK time) with the Over 40’s match getting underway at 2pm local time (3.30am UK time) and the senior match following at 4pm local time (5.30am UK time)
