WEEKEND PREVIEW: Another Busy Weekend coming up
A busy weekend of Cycle Speedway action kicks off later today (Saturday 6th July) with the Somersham 50th Anniversary Open at the Somersham track. the action gets underway at 11am with an Under 13’s Individual which is followed at 1pm by an Open and also a Veterans Individual, both of which will be run together. The Women’s Individual which was scheduled to be run alongside the Under 13’s event will not now take place after a number of withdrawals left that event unviable. There are also 2 matches in the National League as Ipswich take on Birmingham and Poole take on Kesgrave.

Bury are the visitors to Hull in all 3 Divisions, Sheffield and Fife meet at the Graves Tennis Centre in a Division 1 match whilst Astley & Tyldesley make the trip to Firth Park for Division 2 & 3 matches
The South & South Wales League sees Exeter making the trip across the Severn Bridge to take on Newport whilst Poole travel to Horspath. Southampton were due to take on East Newport but the Welsh side have rider injury and availability issues so that fixture will be rescheduled for later in the season.
In the South-East League there are 3 matches in Division 2 as well as a Youth League match. 2 of the Division 2 matches take place at Kesgrave where Hellingly will take on both the Panthers and the Pumas either side of a Youth League match between the 2 teams. Also in Division 2 Ipswich are the visitors to Eaton Park where they take on Norwich
