British riders performed well in the opening day of the ICSF European Championships, in the Polish city of Torun, on Friday. The weather was hot and sunny, as riders battled through eleven qualifiers held on two tracks at Bielanska and Skierki.
In the Open Individual Championship Qualifying Round and Quarter Finals, nine Britons have fought hard to progress to the Semi-finals on Saturday morning. They are: Ryker Jolly, Ben Mould, Zac Payne, Kenzie Bennett, John White, J.J. Wildman, Chris Timms, Charlie Parr, Torsten Jolly.
There will be four British riders in Sunday’s Veterans Individual Final, after qualifying from the two semi finals held today. They are: Paddy Wenn, Craig Marchant, Craig Norton, Mark Winwood.
There will be eight British riders in Sunday’s Junior Individual Final, after qualifying from the two pre qualifying matches and two semi finals held today. They are: Ryker Jolly, Kenzie Bennett, Torsten Jolly, John White, J.J Wildman, Charlie Parr, Shaun Kell, Leon Penketh.
Saturday’s racing is all at the Skierki track, starting at 10.00, with the two Open Individual Semi-Finals. This is followed by the four Nations Cup Finals, for Women, Veterans, Junior and Open teams.
